Shepherds's Bush Green
The Bush is sandwiched between Hammersmith to its south White city to the north. Holland park on the East and Acton on the west. It is the northern most part of the Hammersmith and Fulham borough. The actual shepherds bush green is geographically set to the east. Shepherds Bush Green itself has a number of big venues situated on its Western end The Shepherd's Bush Empire, the Pavillion, and The Shepherd's Bush Theatre. The area has one shopping center on the south side of the green called W12 and there is another currently under construction on the north side.
The Main High Roads
There are three main highroads off the Green; Shepherd's Bush Road, running south towards Hammersmith, Uxbridge Road, known for its food shops and Goldhawk Road which is well stocked with fabric shops and cheap cafes.
Transport
There are four underground stations two on the Hammersmith and city line Goldhawk Road and Shepherd's Bush Soon to be renamed to Shepherd's Bush Market. Also two stations on Central line White City and Shepherd's Bush. There is currently developments to join the two lines at White City. Also in the developments plans are the joining of The Central line with the British Rail network (line running from Wilsden Junction and Clapham Junction), Also a new Bush Station to be situated east of the Shepherd's Bush station.
Shepherd's Bush Market
The Market is on the west side of the Green and runs along the Hammersmith and City Line between Goldhawk Road and Uxbridge Road. It is
Wood Lane
Another road worth mentioning is Wood Lane which heads due north from the western end of Shepherd's Bush Green. The BBC has all its buildings off this road and the White City Station is also located on it.
